Front Camera

Quick question: I have recently noticed that even though the One front camera has MP than an iPhone front camera, why do the pictures from a One front camera look like Crap? At first I thought it was low lighting, but then I saw the front camera on my niece's 4s, and it took really good pictures with her even in the same place as mine. When I use mine it looks all pixelated and ugly. 4s front camera looked amazing

I'll admit that I have had to mess with the settings a little more with the One than other phones I've had, but it truly has some strong points. In the meantime try turning on HDR and see if this helps. Also realize that neither front nor rear facing camera is going to give you pics good enough to be blown up or zoomed in on a whole lot.

Oh and if Skizzity should happen to buy you that 4s hit me up with details about the sell of your One. LOL

I just realized that it was just my phone. My brother's girlfriend happens to have an HTC One also and her front camera makes mine look like pure home cooked **** :'(

Mine has the same problem. I have met dozens of people with the same phone, all different colors, and have played with every color in different stores including the silver one which is the one I have, and I feel the same exact way as you. Seems like I am the only one in my city that has a defective unit, plus this is the replacement one, the first one I had was even WORSE, which I couldnt think would even be possible :/ . Hopefully 4.4 fixes what they said was supposed to be fixed in 4.3.... oh I have Sprint, if that matters.
