Front facing camara

What are your front facing camara setting? When I take a selfie my face always comes out in a bad photo shop like kind of way, in a not defined some of way, (sorry it's a little hard to describe it)

Or is that the way the software process the photos?

Sounds like you have the Beauty option enabled (it softens/enhances facial features). It's enabled by default on my S5. Go into your camera settings and turn it off.
