Long story short, while repairing my screen I accidentally broke the front camera module when putting the device back together.
The camera is definitely broken and I'll get around to replacing that shortly. However, in the meantime whenever I fire up any camera app whether it be stock, Google or third party app, they all hang on a black screen for a while and most of the time they crash with an error 'Camera has stopped working'.
I understand it's because of receiving no signal from the front camera, so does anybody know of a way to completely software disable the front camera so that it's not even requested to activate, allowing my apps to go straight to the rear camera each and every time?
