Froyo issues NEED HELP!!!

I have tried several different versions of Froyo and the same thing keeps happening most of my music and pics disappear. At first I thought I just needed to reboot but everytime I rebooted more and more disappeared. I tried unmounteing my card and still no luck. I even went so far as to pull everything off my card and put it back with still no luck. I went back to 2.1 and everything showed back up but in Froyo its all gone. I am also having an issue with my device freezing for a good 15mins or so everytime I restart my phone or when it has to sync. The phone usually freezes til it overheats and then reboots and is fine. Am I the only person having these problems or is this an issue that I missed the memo on? Thanks for the help...

Ok so I had my Droid replaced. It fixed my freezing issues it no longer freezes anymore however my music and pics dont all show up. Any idea whats causing this and how to fix it?

My Droid also freezes up and becomes unresponsive on Froyo. What did you tell Verizon when you got it replaced? Obviously, you couldn't tell them it doesn't run Froyo.

I don't know why the pictures don't show up in Froyo, I have the same problem. However, if you use a file manager app like Astro, you can navigate to the folder and the pics show up as thumbnails which can be opened and viewed.

I also have the issue of my phone locking up after reboot with 2.2. This is my second phone and it happens on it too. I have tried many roms but always the same issue.

Update!

I formatted my sd card and rebooted my phone. It is working like a champ again. My card was so full of crap from all the testing, ROM's and apps that i had installed and blown away that formatting cleaned the issue right up... I have a very happy droid owner again.
