Froyo to GB noob ?

I've been running a modded stock VZW ROM (deodexed / debloated).

I'd like to try a GB ROM, but have a ?

To switch to GB, do I need to flash a GB Kernel? or is the Kernel for the new ROM included in the ROM pkg? (I'm looking at the Synergy).

And, will my current radio work with GB ROM, or do I need to pick a GB radio?

I've also seen that radios can be flashed as combos (which I think is my current), or seperate, but, if you flash two seperates (CDMA and LTE) won't the second flash overwrite the first? or does it just add to in addition to the first you flashed?

I currently have synergy loaded and loving it. If you go from a froyo rom to GB you will need a GB radio to flash to. There are lots of posts about radios to flash with Gb based roms. Check out the how to sticky on installing them there are links in there to the current radio lists. I'm using 605.3 with with very good results. You should be able to get a single radio file that will do cdma and lte in one flash.

I don't think you have to flash a separate kernel.
