How will they let us know about the update and how to download ????

You can check yourself...settings> about phone> system updates

This is my first android phone but I'd imagine there will be some kind of notification in the notification bar when an update is available

It will come across as a pop up message. Watch AC home page. Or just dl the leak.

Usually moto will announce these things on their twitter feed, but you can bet there will be an article on the front page of AC when the OTA gets pushed out, and once it reaches your phone, you'll get a message telling you there is a new update to download
