how do you copy & paste the update.zip file from "download" to the root? it copies, but when i click "up" in Astro to get to the root, it won't paste.

I also tried using 'move', which didnt work, as well as putting the root folder into the home directory and putting the file in that. neither of these tactics worked...

cause you're trying to paste to the "root" dir maybe which is not writable. paste it in the root of the sdcard. if you're stuck download to pc, connect your usb, mount the sdcard, and move it manually.

yeah. When referring to the sdcard, the "root" is top level of the sdcard. If you downloaded trough the browser on the phone "download" folder is one level down. So it's basically root/download. Just copy the file in astro. Go 1 level up and paste it there.
