If anyone can help...I'd really appreciate it. I bought an EVO3D from eBay. The buyer made no mention of it being rooted. Now I can't update to the system via HTC's OTA updates and so I'm still running stuff like Android Market instead of Google Play, etc.
It's driving me up the wall I can't update and I don't know crap abour ROMs and rooting. I've tried to read up on all this, but it seems links to lead to proper files or their out of date or there's an HTC method versus some other method. It's just frustrated me beyond belief and I'm just ready to move forward and let this whole rooting thing go. Can anyone help me on this?
I know it's got Clockwork Recovery v5.0.2.0 and HBOOT 1.40 and it's takes my phone 2:30 just to power up.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
