FTP access of Dinc on WinSBS2003

Used to have a Palm Treo700p that could access our Work Server via FTP. Once I upgraded to the Dinc, no access anymore (using AndFTP), connection times out. IT guy says we need SBS2010 for newer phone access. Does anyone know if this is for real or BS.

I use it and its great.... I'm not so sure about that versioning.. I would say.. I don't think so.

any business that allows plain text FTP nowdays is nuts.

Even SBS2010 should support SFTP.
