My N1 seemed to be running fine no issues and then the past 2 days...For some reason i charged my phone and when i wake up the phone is completely dead..I put it on the charger with about 55% battery life left before i went to sleep and woke up and it was completely dead....

How the hell did that happen lol...It was on the charger entire time...

Has this happened to anyone else before?

i charged it using the wall charger and never had issues with it before....The phone wouldnt turn on at all this morning, when i got in my truck i took out the battery and put it back in hoping it would work but nothing. I plugged it into my car dock and then saw the orangle light like it was charging...after a few minutes i was able to turn the phone on and it showed 0% and then started to charge again...WTF lol....

HELP!!!!

Does the outlet have power? Try connecting something else to it.

Or you charger to another outlet.

It's either the charger or the wall since your phone seems to be charging in the car.

I have had issues with battery burn when an app ties up the processor in a loop. For a while I used System Panel to monitor this, but it never enabled me to identify the offending app. I uninstalled it to get the memory back.

BUT . . . rebooting the phone, whether by power cycling or by battery pull, has always fixed the processor loop issue and restored the phone to its normal crappy battery life. Make sure the phone is not connected to power when you do this.

Seriously, I can make it through a day, but only with an occasional charging boost and only light usage. If I am traveling, I am swapping out with a fresh battery.

While I guess the slim form factor is nice, why not make it a little fatter and put a bigger battery in?

Anyway, sorry to hijack your post with my rant, but I hope the power cycle fix helps. You will, of course, need to charge the phone after power cycling.

it must have just been some weird fluke. perhaps the battery driver got glitched and didn't initiate the charge cycle. who knows. the time to worry is if this repeats itself. if you never see it again, then all is likely fine.
