Has anyone timed to see how far the quick charge is? I was going to time it from 0% to 100%. But I never get it all the way down.
I wouldn't suggest anyone to attempt (purposely) a 0% charge since that's bad... But if someone happened to due to life well.. Then we could find out.
My phone was at 23% the other day and I plugged it into the qc2 charger that came with the phone and it said it would take 1hr52 mins to fully charge. I unplugged it and connect my phone to a qc3 charger and it said it would take 52 mins, so there's quite a difference between the two standards.
That shouldn't be the case, so perhaps there is a difference in the voltage of the 2.0 charger or the readout wasn't accurate. I'd probably compare real world results rather than the phone predictions.
3.0 and 2.0 both charge at the same max power (18W), the only difference is the voltage range allowed by each standard. 2.0 is 5v-12v, 3.0 is 3.2v to 20v, so 3.0 allows the charge to be more efficient if properly setup.
