Full Facebook site not rendering feeds

This seemed to start about three or four days ago. It seems the full facebook site is not rendering the news/live feeds all of a sudden. Anyone else seen this? I get that this is likely a Facebook site deal rather than the EVO (using Dolphin browser) or Android, but was a bit of a damper when I was trying to show off the device to a friend who is considering upgrading to a smartphone from an old Blackberry.

Weird... Working for me perfect. I use Dolphin HD too.

Tried clearing out a bunch of cache/cookies etc, nothing worked. Hit the home button from the full site, and of course it redirects you to the touch. site (stupid!) but when I clicked "full site" at the bottom of that page, it brought me back to the full site and the feeds are there again. Weird glitch, wish I knew what caused it.

Ahh... Try this... open the Dolphin browser. Doesn't matter what site you're on. Hit menu > settings> User Agent > Desktop. See if that works..

Not to hijack thread but my facebook widget seems to be a battery hog. Anyone else have this issue?

It does that to me sometimes as well. I find using Wifi it does it far less often.

changing my user setting did help render this correctly. Will update if the problem comes back or something else weird happens, but great tip Jerzy!

Still having issues getting the keyboard to pop up when tapping on different text boxes for the full site. Any tips or workarounds for that? It kinda makes the full site not very useable, although maybe a little bit better for full featured viewing.

I can get the KB to pop by tapping on the text box used for commenting on other peoples' statuses, then it will stay up and you can tap on your status to try to type or copy a link,etc but it disappears as soon as you type.

That is definitely a bug and I guess that would need to be looked at by someone at google to see what is lacking in triggering the KB???

The only issue is with trying to update your status on the main site. I suppose it's a bug, but it's caused by Facebook's AJAX coding. It seems to plague all mobile browsers with a soft keyboard from what I can tell.

Only workaround is to use one of the mobile sites or an app on the phone to update your status.

I guess for the most part I do that. FB app should be updated to allow u to view and write on event walls then, cuz its the same bug on the full site...doesn't let the KB pop

Even FB status test-entry on a computer is problematic. Try copy and pasting bits of your status around. Try select-all, copy, paste, post, and note the carnage of injected newlines.
