Full volume but no sound!

This is like the 3rd time that my LG G4 lost all volume...seems to happen after a incoming phone call. I can barely hear lock and unlock sounds but everything else is silent. I checked all volume levels and all are at full level. I am baffled here! The last 2 times it happened, the volume just came back to normal on it's own. Any ideas?

ETA: I was able to get sound back by rebooting the phone...but this is a big issue! Can't hear calls or texts coming in! Help!

I uninstalled YouMail voice mail ap and turned off some TeslaUnread counters and it seems stable. I am pretty sure it was an ap issue since rebot fixed it. I will be keeping my eye on it all day to see if there are any recurrences! Any other suggestions?

YouMail ( https://forums.androidcentral.com/e...=com.youmail.android.vvm&hl=en&token=P58B2QN- ) sounds like (no pun intended) candidate, in that it has permission to change your audio settings. (At the bottom of that page, check out Permissions and click View Details.) If you want to, use the method/app listed on the http://forums.androidcentral.com/lg-g4/544443-common-issues-solutions.html sticky for "Access Lock", and a) revoke audio setting permissions for that app, and b) look for other apps that have permission to change your audio/volume.

Hi! Did you ever figure this out? I'm having the exact same problem. Rebooting fixes it as well, but I can never tell when it's not going to work. Just now I missed two calls, an alarm, and a text. :/

My problem was the YouMail app...I got rid of it and my ringer has been working fine. Also make sure you aren't in no interruptions mode.

Sent from my LG-G4 using Tapatalk...

Ok go to phone call settings and then make sure its not on no interruption mode click on all interruptions that fixed mine

Hi. Can somebody help me with my lg v20. This is my 2nd lg within a month. I had my first v20 replaced because i had so much issues with my first, not knowing that my second lg v20 is worse.
1) there is no sound to all notifications, sms, alarm clock, call (incoming and outgoing), even if it is on sound mode.. I tried factory reset but still did not work. I restart the phone whenever i encounter this issue but still goes back to same conditions after an hour or so.
2) cannot record a video nor watch video from my gallery. Cant even watch videos from youtube nor facebook.

My lg f180k has audio jack issue.i plug my amplifier pin in to lg it suddenly stops playing sound and then it continuously showing hands-free plug in even i open the phone and remove the audio jeck but it still showin hands-free plug in and not playing any sound to internal speaker. How i root my phone audio to internal speaker if hands-free plug in showing?

If your service is Sprint, Boost, or Virgin Mobile, this may help:

"Reset your connection to the Nationwide Sprint 4G LTE Network.

Note: Resetting your connection does not erase any of your content or data.

From the home screen, tap the Phone icon.
Dial ##72786 #.
Tap OK.
Your phone will restart.
After it restarts, your phone automatically starts Hands Free Activation.
After Hands Free Activation completes, your phone is ready to be used."
