I can not get facebook to sync contacts so im pretty sure its no. I go to my contacts and add account i pick facebook but it never puts them in.

Honestly bro if you have a rezound ur better off keeping it. I have the nexus as my business phone provided to me as a vzw employee and did plan on getting it as my personal but after using it for a week and rezound i like rezound more.

Facebook no (not the official app at least) - this is because Facebook doesn't want to make an app that behaves using Android's contacts APIs so stock Android doesn't connect contacts lists with Facebook.

Interesting. I do Like the rezound. I'm still undecided, probably go play with one tomorrow to try it out. I have until sometime in early Jan. to swap. Thanks for the response.

my facebook syncs with my contacts? I am running an ics rom so I would not see why it wouldn't. Did you go in the fb app and click sync all contacts?

Ive done this. Doesnt work. Keep in mind ur running a rom... i even tried uninstalling and reinstalling.

I keep telling myself that yes ics is amazing. However i also keep telling myself that once the rezound gets ics i find it will be better.

I just feel like by the time the rezound gets ics apps and things will run a lot smoother .. idk still trying to make up my mind ...

Rom or not it is still stock ICS.

Your ROM probably re-enables the contact sync with Facebook. (Which honestly isn't helping the case for Facebook fixing their app to use Android's APIs instead of their own)

Believe me I am not praising fb for anything. There app is pretty useless except at draining your battery.

I have a Thunderbolt and I can tell you that the honeymoon period with Sense runs out fast. I have come to realize that it requires so many resources that it slows down the phone and uses quite a bit of battery. I actually considered going back to a G1 because the stock experience is just so much better. Plus, getting an update to ICS is going to be months away. Froyo to Gingerbread was relatively small compared to Gingerbread to Ice Cream Sandwich, and just that took HTC many months. In the end, do what you want, but remember these cons.

I was gona say, the rezound has sense. If you are fine with that, go get it, its the phone for you. If you dont like sense, then the nexus is for you.

In the end, I am getting the nexus for the stock experience. I want to choose what I use my battery and memory for.
