You wanna talk bad luck? I'm wiping my phone off to install my just-received Diztronic Case, when the damn thing slides off the wiping cloth I'd set it down on onto concrete. Luckily, the battery cover took most of the scars, though the brushed "metal" ring took a tiiiny scratch on a corner (back side, where I won't see it very easily). The cover though? Not so easily ignored. New one is on its way from England. Sorry Sprint; no free advertising for you.

SUX. At least the phone didn't take much damage. When you put your case on wouldn't it hide it? I dropped my GSII 2 days after getting it and it slid across the floor in the supermarket. I aslo lucked it. it just dinged the bottom corner but the glass got a little scratched. cased it and put a screen protector asap to help from happening again.

sucks man..i dropped my phone while i was talking on it between my center console and drivers seat in the car...it was wedged in there pretty good...have a small 1mm scratch on the metal ring that goes around the phone....I can feel it with my finger if i rub against it...oh well..at least the screen was ok

i dont mind too much, especially since even if i did have a TPU case on there, id get a bunch of scratches from random grime that gets in between it.

Okay, I have to ask...how is it that you are able to get that much/under your cases that it would case scratches at all, much less as many as on the phone in the thread you started? It takes me forever the get much in the way of dust in my TPU cases, and I clean mine out regularly...now those Seidio cases, on the other hand, are the DEVIL. Scratched my OG EVO up like crazy.

man i really have no clue...probably because I am out and about all the time...and we get plenty of dust storms through the area...I also live near a beach..sand gets in my pockets sometimes and it's unavoidable

for me, it's better not to use a case at all....

if you are dressed professionaly and are in an office all day, then you may not have the same issues...

all i know is that leaving my phone naked (i just have a flip cover at the moment) leaves less scratches than having a case on

Im really careful with my phone and keep it in a zippered pocket most of the time...so im not worried about drop protection...I have saved enough $$ from insurance premiums from the last 5 years or so to man up, and buy a new phone if i break mine






My sedio also scratched up m OG evo...I just started using a leather pouch instead with velvet type of material on the inside
