G1 and My Favs

The G1 is said to be able to work with T-Mobiles MyFavs plan and i have not found one video or article showing how this works can anyone help

good question -- it SHOULD work... I'm not a myFaves user myself so I'll have to hunt around.

Dont know if you already had an answer to your question but yes it does work with MyFavs, you will get either get an icon on the Home screenwhich you touch it and it functions as an app. ittakes you to sreen with your Favs, and you also have the my favs icon in the pull out tab where all the other apps are in.

So it's like MyFaves on WinMo, then. It only appears if you're signed up for the plan?

i would assume so i do know idf you have it an icon application would appwar on your home screen so you tap it and it displays a wheel with your davs

That is correct. If you don't sbuscribe to MyFaves you don't get the options.

I didn't sign up for fav fives and the app was on my phone already and works if I know what it is supposed to do. It sets up your fav fives for you. YOu pick five contacts and it dials them for you, is that how it is supposed to work?

I originally had MyFaves, but cancelled it after realizing I don't really need it. T-Mo sent me a text message confirming it was deleted from my account AND the MyFaves app was automagically deleted from my phone.
