This is probably because of the horrible Marshmallow software, but you can no longer change the ringtone to the music of your choice, or can you. Now, many of you may know this already, but for those of you who don't, this is how it is done.
Download ES File Manager. Open the app and click on music, click on the track you want, a pop up appears and you click on "ES Media Player". Click on the 3 dots in the top right hand corner, and it gives you the option to use as ring tone. DONE !!
