G2 Screen Issue LCD Glass Digitizer

I bought a G2 with a broken glass Digitizer. I replaced the digitizer but the LCD screen was cracked as well. So i replace that too. After replacing the glass digitizer and lcd screen the phone would respond in certain areas. SOOO I took the phone apart once more and press the LCD against the Glass digitizer which help with some of the "dead spots" on the screen. But there are still some "dead" spots here and there. Is there anything i could do to have the Lcd screen stick to the digitizer so i don't have these issues. I love my G2 but its useless at points when the multi touch is not working properly.

It's probably a little late to help out lazyboy1986 but just in case anyone else encounters this issue, the problem is not with getting the LCD closer to the screen. The glass touchscreen you bought comes with the digitizer tightly glued to the bottom of it. The sensing of your fingers has nothing to do with the positioning of the LCD.

Unfortunately, you were probably just shipped a bad glass/digitizer combo. This is not an uncommon problem. For anyone else encountering an issue like this in the future:

1) Double check all your connectors to make sure they're properly seated.
2) If they are and it still doesn't work, send it back for a new screen or a refund.
