I've had this phone a month now. I got it when having to send in my My for a repair and needed something in the interim thought I would get it and return it when the My came back.
Now I do love my M7, apart from the camera which had been all purple tinted in low light (what I sent it in for). But I found myself loving this phone too.
Stray observations with hopes someone can point out things I missed:
1 - I really do miss the M7 boomsound speakers.
2 - biggest annoyance.... I always have a lock on my phone. It seems I can't alter the volume without unlocking it (pin, knock, face etc).
3 - I like sense better than the LG ui.
4 - the camera quality there is no comparison. Even in low light. However that being said HTC does give you more options. Heck I can't even find a slow motion video option.
5 - when trying to use the M7 for awhile I found myself trying to tap the back center buttons that were not there. I adapted pretty quickly... Using side volume seems awkward to me now.
6 - the LG screen really is superior, maybe not staggeringly so but I notice it.
7 - I have to reject numbers individually? Not all for one contact?
8 - The SD card isn't a big deal. The swappable battery (and free one with charger I got from LG is nice ). That being said the battery life has been terrific anyway. I usually keep screen fairly dim fwiw. Not just for battery life. It seems almost to bright.
9 - yeah the feel of aluminum is better. But I use a case most of the time (otter box symmetry at moment) anyway.
10 - the phone gets very hot when running apps (games) that use a lot of cpu or gpu. Here is one case where I think the metal case helps HTC cool things as a radiator...
Anyway think I am gonna keep it. Maybe keep the m7 for a backup. The LG won't fit in my bicycle mount anyway so may use it for that...
