Android Central Question

I recently upgraded from an LG-G3 to an LG-V30 and I noticed some of my favorite things are gone. I like to make my gallery app take up most of a page on my home screen by making it into a 4-5 tile, I also like to set it as a picture that I look to give it some extra personality. But that beautiful purple edit button that pops up in the upper right hand corner of the app when I hold it down does not apear on the V30 like it does in the G3. Also the G3 had its own options for a black keyboard that I would like back. Plus the high contrast and black theme just arent black enough for me on the V30. The G3 had everything I ever wanted but I desperately needed the new hardware the V30 has.
I dont like using launchers I simply DO NOT trust them.
So how would I fix this issue?
I am paying this phone off through Verizon and I intend on keeping it for a long time so I would love to fully costomize it like i did with the G3's stock settings.

Thats how I set my gallery app up. I also like to tone down the saturation of my apps and give them a vintage feel. I really miss that purple button up there. I hope somebody can help me, my new phone just isnt personalized enough without that button.
