I missed my Motorola family a lot and I am coming back! I had Motorola since the photon and decided to change but alas I miss my Motorola.... I had the maxx and RAZR maxx and normal RAZR also. I loved the line and missed the phone. So I will be picking up my 64gig variant tomorrow and will be on this forum talking with my moto family.

I will be interested to hear your comparisons between the G3 and the Turbo.

Welcome back! I hope you enjoy this beast as much as I do. And remember to take the plastic off the screen! (that's one of our inside jokes on the Turbo forum, now you're in on it) :P

Haha well an inside joke is almost always formed from a actual event that happened.... I take it someone forgot to take off the plastic?

I recently made the switch from a G3 as well. I'm interested to hear your thoughts.

Both are great phones. For me, the only things I miss are the camera and on screen buttons.

The main reason I decided to switch was for the size (able to use it one handed) and features Motorola comes with. The Turbo is noticeably faster and has maintained a stronger signal so those are a bonus.

I'm looking forward to lollipop and don't regret giving up unlimited too much.

I was debating the G3 and the Turbo for 2 hours on Friday, went with the Turbo. Love the phone but the camera really does struggle with that shutter lag. I have zero chance of capturing my 18 month old.

I had the G3 also. The G3 is a great phone. The camera on the Turbo was better and faster on the G3. The Turbo takes excellent photos just slower. Overall the Turbo is a better phone for me. The size. The build. But most importantly the software on the Turbo is superior to the G3 for me. No regrets making the switch.

I have G3 may switch when they fix the data and phone at same time thing
