g4 Bluetooth streaming problem

I purchased my daughter a Kenwood receiver for Xmas and it paired up fine with the head unit, but when attempting to stream music it will not play upon first connecting

I actually have to toggle Bluetooth on and off then it works, is there any known problems with the g4?

I have tried a note 4,nexus 5,idol 3 and all worked flawlessly, any suggestions?

I love how its the g4 with top of the line wireless chip, and not the deck receiver which is never top of the line anything. Whats the deck model?

it was a Kenwood kdc 562,had it swapped out for a pioneer and everything is ok now

Aftermarket head units are never as up to date with latest phones.
As an ex JLR infotainment engineer, I can pretty much guarantee the head unit is the weakest link.

I'm going to have to disagree with that statement.. I have had this POS G4 for 6 months & have linked it several different Bluetooth devices & the G4 has failed on every single one.. My problem is it will connect to the device & it will work fine then all of a sudden when I get in my car it will connect but when I push the play button on the stereo the sound will only come through my phone, I can control everything with the stereo but it doesn't play through the speakers... Worst phone I have ever had!!!!

Yeah I guess the guy above you didn't see where I said it worked perfectly on the other phones I tried
