G4 Home Screens Changed Overnight

I woke up this morning to something weird! Overnight, my phone seems to have taken the pesky Sprint Default Update on it's own! My home screens reverted to 3 pages (I had 5 set up) plus it moved some of my app icons around. Even folders that I had set up were back to the app drawer! Did anyone ever have this happen? Is there a setting I need to change to NOT apply updates automatically? This is not a big issue but I really don't want it to happen again! This is on my new warranty replacement phone...my old LGG4 kept asking to install the Sprint Default Update but I was able to decline it. This phone seems to have updated it on it's own!

Well that's not a good sign at all. Did it update to ZV6? There were issues with other carriers when the last update came out with an auto update but that didn't happen on Sprint for ZV5. I let my update sit in my notification tray for a week or two and it didn't force anything. Sprint better not have followed suit this time.

I got ZV6 Thursday night...everything was OK until this morning.

I'm lost. You say you got ZV6 Thursday night, but also say your phone updated on its own last night. Does that mean you didn't apply ZV6 when you received it?

I updated to ZV6 Thursday night and the phone was fine. Saturday morning, the phone is missing home screens and icons. I think it took another update called Sprint Default Update. Problem is that it took the 2nd update (completely unrelated to the first ZV6 update) on it's own, overnight. I did not OK the 2nd update...if that is indeed what happened. This is what I am unsure of.

Sprint default update is not a system update. I see the notification every morning I think but I just dismiss it. That update is for installed Sprint bloatware I believe.

Wonder what would cause it to upload itself? I am positive that I didn't allow it to install.

My phone did the same thing. Bought it on Sept 3rd. Spent time setting it up the way I like it with all my screens. Woke up on the 5th and it had smashed all my 7 screens into 3. It took me the entire rest of the day to get it back to where it was when I went to bed. I don't know what happened to it but it hasn't happened since. Hope it doesn't ever happen again.
