G4 or Flex 2?

I am on ATT. I have an opportunity to get a free Flex 2 from someone which would mean paying off my current 2013 Moto X at $239. I have just pre-ordered a G4 on the NEXT plan and upgraded my X for $80.
Right now I'm thinking I'll stay with my current decision as it seems as if the Flex 2 specs aren't close to the G4.
I will not take the free Flex 2 if I'm not going to use it. That would obviously be the best solution but it is not available...
Thoughts?

I'd go for the G4. It has a superior screen and camera, and it also has the Snapdragon 808 instead of the 810. Although Qualcomm denies it, there may still be some concerns about overheating with the 810.

I would also guess that LG will be much more likely to keep the G4 updated than the Flex 2.

Go hold and play with them both. I wouldn't make this decision based on specs alone. Go see which one you prefer. My opinion anyway.

All the reviews I've seen say the G4 is much better than the Flex 2. I'll most likely stick with my decision to purchase the G4. Screen, camera and battery life are all supposed to be better than the Flex 2. The biggest advantage to the Flex 2 for me is that I wouldn't have additional payments and it would give me the flexibility to upgrade earlier.
