G4 - Qi charging issues

Hi, could anyone provide some guidance on Qi charging for the G4 please?

I have a G4 with a Quick Circle case (CFR-100 AGEUSV P/NOAAA76305211) which should be able to charge via my Nexus Qi charger, unfortunately I'm having no joy. The charger works absolutely fine on my N7 but gets no response whatsoever from the G4. The only thing that strikes me is that the back of the case is not completely flat and that may be making the connection difficult. International version unlocked being used in the UK.

Any ideas/thoughts/suggestions would be very welcome. Thank you for your time.

EDIT: I did use LG web chat to try for assistance without nay luck.

Is it on AT&T? Rumor has is that they crippled Qi again in favor of PMA.

Nope unlocked international version being used in the UK - apologies I should have mentioned that

Funny you mention this, I recall there were some chargers that did not play nice with the G3 when it came out.
On my G3 I had to place it perfectly on my Nokia charger or it would not work, yet on my Powerbot chargers I can drop it just about anywhere and it always works.
I also recall that there were some early quick circle cases that simply did not work.
Do you have access to any other Qi chargers?

I was planning on getting the G4 cradle I guess I'll just buy iy a bit quicker. Than you for your comments

Stupid question but do you have the right case? My understanding is they make two circle cases, one has Qi charging and the other does not have wireless charging.

tx_tuff not a stupid question at all - that's what I thought the problem might be, I've googled the case number above and it is supposed to be the Qi variant - it was sold as such and LG (web-chat) confirmed that it should be working. From looking at the inside of the case it has power connectors and the area where the Qi panel should be is also magnetic.

Well the new LG charging cradle works without issue - although the thing won't charge my N7. Thank you to all who offered some thoughts

It's my understanding the the two pins on the left are for Qi charging, so it looks right to me. I don't know how the charger you have works, but I had problems lining up my G3 with the hockey puck one. Maybe you're not hitting the sweet spot? Or maybe you got a bad case?

All is fine now, this one looks identical to the original so I'm assuming that it was duff. The LG dock works exactly as it should as we..
