G5 Eating Up My Data

I love my G5. Every thing about it... Except one.

I need some advice on how to get the G5 from chewing thru my data in the foreground. I don't know how to stop it.

Getting the background data stopped is easy. But I can't seem to stop the foreground usage without actually shutting the data off completely. I never had this issue with any of my other phones.

Even with the limit set it just screams right past and I'm paying for going over.

Any suggestions?
Thanks.

I found the "network" stuff but there's no "global" setting that I can find.

Here you go : settings > wireless networks >more> mobile networks >system select >network mode, then choose CDMA for Verizon, or GSM for ATTACH, etc.

Go to settings >data usage, scroll down the list and see if any apps are using an unusually large amount of data. If you could post a screen shot of the data usage someone might be able to spot something.

I do have Greenify installed. Still eating up my data. I've not found a solution yet. I guess shutting off the data for now is my only option.

I do appreciate everyone's input though.

I think it's fixed now after the latest update.

I seemed to notice sort of the same thing going on with my phone Greedog. Chrome is currently highest on my data usage list with Facebook 2nd. But I mean today alone it seemed to shoot up quite a bit and I don't recall watching any videos or anything. Just some light web browsing.

What's the latest Greedog, making any progress at resolving your issue??

Like I said..

I think the last update repaired whatever was going on.

I'm keeping an eye on it. Will keep you posted.
