G5 Stock charger isn't quick charge 3.0??

I read a post on XDA and it said that LG did not include the Quick Charge 3.0 Charger with our G5.:'( Someone got official response back from LG. The Charger that is included is a Quick Charge 2.0 charger.

Lol sorry for laughing this is the m9 all over again, remember that didn't come with QC either, the g4 didn't either but it sold much better.

So we have quality assurance issues, dull screen in the soft, chipping of paint, no day coming to North America and now QC 2.0 included in a phone advertised with QC 3.0.

Not good. Prices are dropping so fast ill probably pick one up over this m9.

However, compared with QC 2.0, QC 3.0 is 4~6 ℃ lower in charging temperature, 16% faster and 38% efficient in charging speed. QC 3.0 can protect the battery of the phone.

They are probably the leftover G4 or V10 chargers.

I find a video made by xda-developers here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGQ7qQbJPH8. The LG original charger started charging with 9V. When tested with a Tronsmart QC 3.0 wall charger, you can see that the ammeter showed 6.5V/1.4A. QC 2.0 only has 5V,9V,12V three levels. QC 3.0 charges at 200mv increments from 3.6V to 20V.

Well, regardless of which specs it complies with, it seems to charge as fast as my Quick Charge 3.0 car charger. Given that, what's the big deal?

It's at least 2.0. I get the fast charging notification when I use it.

Picked up a 3.0 charger on Amazon for $12. We'll see if it charges any faster.

I don't think Verizon even offers a QC 3.0 charger yet. At least not on their website or in stores. The one on their website says 2.0.
Whats the best 3.0 to buy?
