G6 Two camera questions

1st - under camera - Settings - Timer I want the 3 second setting to persist. Do we know of a camera app that will allow it?

2nd - under Settings - Cheese Shutter - I have to speak directly into the microphone to take a pic. Is this normal? Voice activation of shutter was easy on my Galaxy S5.

I don't have to be up very close to the phone for the cheese camera, and I don't know of any camera shutter apps
