We know the USLG G6 and other versions don't have a separate DAC like the V20 and V10, but how much juice does the G6 have to drive higher Ohm/ less sensitive earphones?
Question for audophiles - how does the sound (using wired earphones) compare to other newer flashship phones?

Are you asking because you already have a pair of high impedance?
If so you will probably be OK but not the best match. If you are looking to buy new I wouldn't bother for any standard output DAC.

I have been using it with the ear buds I got with v20....to me...the g6 is louder with ear buds than v20. I dont have any complaints.

Are you comparing Snapdragon to Snapdragon or comparing Snapdragon to Quad DAC at low output?
Your response does not answer the actual question from the OP.

Not trying to get super technical...what I am saying ...if u can follow me...is that the b&o headphones....to me...are louder on the g6 with volume at 100% than the v20 at 100%.

I can follow but you haven't identified whether that Is with the HIFI DAC on or Off?

Unfortunately the HIFI DAC does not full output with low impedance headsets however the sound quality should be better active as oppose to not active on the V20 by itself. As for the G6 being louder.... They may have bumped up the gain.
