Galaxy 9 Phone stopped working during update and is now frozen

[Android Central Question]

I looked at my phone and noticed an update had started today on its own. When it was at about 60% the phone just suddenly went blank and died. I had just taken off the charger recently so it has plenty of battery left. It is completely unresponsive. What do I do?

Assuming that you mean it powered off, and will not power on, try charging it for half a day. If no go, something has presumably failed.
