The only way I'm able to access Samsung's app store seems to be via the widgets, has anyone found a way to create a shortcut?

I downloaded the app online from Samsung's website to get the shortcut.

I downloaded the .apk, but it won't let me install. I tap on the button, but it won't do anything (althought, the "cancel" button seems to work fine). I also tried the "reinstall" option, but get the same result. Any other ideas? TIA.

There's a setting that allows downloading from other than the Google Play Store that needs to be enabled.

Yes. It's under "Security" and I've already enabled (put a check mark) in the "Unknown sources" box. Still no joy. Thanks though...

Don't know what's causing the problem. I was able to download the app just like downloading an app from the Play Store.

I'd shutdown your device and try again, it worked fine here. Are you on a carrier other than Verizon?

Thanks for the suggestion. I restarted the phone and the install worked fine. Shoulda thought of that myself.
