Hi

Love the Galaxy Buds and being using them since launch. Just one problem with them..

Battery life or more specifically, automatically turning off when inactive.

E.g. fully charged buds. Listen for 15 mins. Place down on surface, not in case. Pick them up hours later and they have either run out of battery life or have very little left.

Content has not being playing through them for all that time but they have for some reason stayed connected or used the battery life.

Which means sometimes I could get 15mins playtime from full charge.

Which is frustrating...

I used to have a cheap pair of wireless earphones that would auto turn off after so many minutes of no audio play. Meaning they lasted a long time.

Is this a feature on the buds or am I doing something wrong ?

Thanks

Have you talked to Samsung about this ? Maybe give you a replacement sounds defective to me .

I believe you're doing something wrong. They're designed to be either in your ears or in the case.

I believe fuzzylumpkin is correct. When you’re done using the earphones, just put them back in the case.

I'm sorry but using them for 15 minutes and picking it them up later on and find they are dead and need charging to use sounds like something not right , the case is to charge and transport them of course and not lose them easily.

I believe that putting them in the case causes them to shut off just as removing them from the case turns them on. if you just take them out of the ears and leave them out of the case they are still powered on and eating the battery.

Yep. Putting then in the case turns them off.

Check your phone and make sure they are not connecting when you're not using them. If this is happening and the buds are in another room or even on a different floor that can definitely lead to battery drain issues.
