I can hear everyone great on my s10 but I sound really muffled to everyone in talking too. I'm on the latest updates on the wearable app, galaxy buds, and android version of my s10 plus. Not sure what to do. The buds fit perfectly in my ear.

Sorry to hear you're having issues. My experience with my Galaxy Buds has been much better. I was just talking to my mom the other day. She's gone partly deaf and couldn't hear me that well when I was using speakerphone on my S10+, but when I took out one Galaxy Bud (right one, if that matters) and started using it instead, she could hear me just fine.

I'll have to try just one and see if it improves. Another problem is I'm not used to noise cancelling headphones so I tend to not be able to tell how loud I'm actually talking.

I took mine back because of this issue. I couldn't deal. People were complaining. Even after the update. Im on my S10 but using my AirPods lol

Can. Anyone else chime in on this issue with a workaround? I recorded my own voice and I sound like I'm really far away and I can hear wind noise or any other ambient noise better than my own.

Yeah I probably talk too loud during phone calls with these as well.

FYI, the Galaxy Buds aren't noise-canceling. But if you choose a rubber tip which matches the size of your ear canal, it will do a dang good job of filtering out outside noises.

I could be wrong but the last buds fw update from the past 4 days seems to have improved the call quality. I used to get a lot of bouncing of the other party's voice between the buds. Haven't noticed that for the last 3 4 days atleast. I'll try this on a long work call tomorrow and post back my observations.

Have the same issue, stopped to use it until i figure something out

Try using bigger ear tips, and make sure you twist the buds backwards after insertion (phrasing).

It could be that the mic is rubbing up against the inside of your ear, and the above should hopefully solve that.

By backwards you want the tip of the part that holds it in my ear towards the back of my head. (2'o clock position.)?

Indeed, twist the top part towards the back of your head after insertion. You don't need to twist them far, they should sort of "lock" into the ear.

If you haven't been doing that, you should notice a world of difference.

my call quality/microphone is unusable too. callers ask "are you doing demolition?" when I'm wadding up a soft plastic bag. It's amplifying outside sound rather than my voice. Still trying to make it work though, decent sound, great design.
