Galaxy fold 3 is a good phone for a contractor?

[Android Central Question]

I currently have a note 20 ultra. I'm wanting to upgrade. After seeing the fold 3 I'm curious if it would be too fragile for outdoor type work? I've never really had trouble with dropping my phone just worried about dust and such. Any ideas are appreciated.

I have both devices you mentioned, I don't use my fold at work as Mechanic but do use the Note 20U at work .

I work in a Warehouse and have never worried in regards to using my Fold3 at work.

Do carry my phone in a vertical holster with belt clip and carabiner clip.

That's a personal decision. I use my fold like I've used every phone I've ever owned. I treat all my phone as fragile devices. They all will break if you drop them. I guess it depends on what you do for the job.. If it involves a lot of dirty work, wet, grimy, dirty I would say no to any phone, leave it in a safe place while working. When my job requires me to get in risky situations I put my phone in a safe situation while doing those jobs, that is with any phone I've owned. I don't feel the need to have a different phone with the fold
