Galaxy Fold not working well with Android Auto

Is anyone using AA with the Fold. I am and it is almost useless. If I say directions to/navigate to xxx, I get a response of sorry, I do not know how to do that. If I say text mom, I get the same result of I do not know how to do that. Sometimes its a male voice and sometimes its a female voice when I push on the microphone icon on the radio screen. But, if I say, play Google play music playlist driving, it finds it and start to play it. When I get an incoming alert/text/notification and I push play, it says sorry, I do not know how to do that????

Its weird as with the Galaxy Z flip AA worked perfectly. Now I just got a Pixel 3A and AA works perfect.

Any advise, will be appreciated. I would hate to have to reset the Fold to see if that fixes the problem. AA app is on the latest software.

How do I uninstall an update? Are you talking uninstalling an update to the AA app or the Fold itself?

To AA app , long press it and tap info then check at right top corner 3 dots to uninstall

Tried your suggestion today but, when you hit the 3 dots at the top right for app info, uninstall update is not there. I have basically given up on AA working with this particular phone and just bluetooth stream and use an app for reading my texts.

I'm looking at my apps list with AA on Note 10+ , it has it for me ,surprised yours doesn't.

It must be something how the app behaves in the Fold. There is nothing on the top right at all. Below where it says Android Auto on your print screen, I have uninstall and force stop only along with everything else below on yours. Weird.

Done that several times to no avail, I am done with AA on this phone an using an app "readittome" to read texts while driving. Thanks for your help.
