Galaxy Folder 2 on T mobile USA?

[Android Central Question]

Hello everyone, I have a strange question. I have a Galaxy Folder 2 and I am trying to make it work on the T-Mobile USA network.
It does work and I get phone and texting alright.
But the internet speed is a joke (0.1 mbps)
So I am trying to find out some settings to set my Access Point or network settings.
I found out some conflicting info on the web but the best I can make out of it is that it should be capable of connecting to the 3G 1900 MHz band 2
Some places say it should connect to the 3G 1900 MHz but dont state the band, Some say it does connect to the band 2 and some say it doesn't. It is a mess.
So if anyone has some ideas, I would be happy to hear them.

Welcome to Android Central! You're correct -- it should be able to connect to 3G Band 2, but that's the only T-Mobile band it can potentially connect to. If the tower in your area isn't using that band, or if the signal is weak, your speeds will be terrible.

Band 2 is 1900 MHz 4G. 1900MHz 3g is the same frequency range, but it's not called Band 2. The Folder 2 doesn't have any of TMobile's 4G bands, and their 3G speeds are terrible, because 3G for data is being phased out in the US.
