Galaxy Grand Prime won't connect to smart watch without first clearing bluetooth data

I have a Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime, 5.1.1 that loses connection to my LG G Watch. The only way I can connect again is by going to app manager, bluetooth, and clear data. This happens constantly, and it is with Bluetooth speakers as well but obviously with a smart watch that is usually the first device I see the problem in. Has anyone experienced this with any other bluetooth connection?
