i do think verizon/samsung/google did not quite anticipate the demand for the phone... that it's going to cell more than your average nexus... and that adds in to the idea that once the 4G outage delayed the first release date, that they decided to just hold out until late this week so that they could get more stock out to stores.

That simply isn't true. You said it yourself you saw a customer had called in 3 times over the Galaxy Nexus. The reason why the majority of your calls are mostly for the iPhone and other Android phones are because....those phones are actually for sale.

One customer that probably is a forum dweller here or elsewhere. Is it really that hard to read what he said?

I think they already have remade the commercials. I keep seeing Verizon spots for their Samsung LTE portfolio, just like the leaked advert schedule said. I think they just replaced the Nexus with the Charge.
