Was hoping someone could help me. I am rooted with Codename android 1.4 I just applied the newest franco kernel tonight and my phones in a constant loop where the google screen and the lock screen at the bottom. I just recently removed the backups to my laptop to save space. How can I get the backup files back on the nexus via ubs isn't letting me.

I'M FREAKING OUT. What do I do??????

Thank you.

Do you have a rom zip in your folders? If so, complete wipe, reinstall. You could also try a battery pull and wiping cache/dalvik.

ALSO--tell Franco, it's important he knows.

Rom zip? Where do I look? It (under clockworkmod) my most recent backup..says it isn't there when I select it.

I have a backup rom on my computer, but have no clue how to get it on the phone

When you flashed your rom, where did you put the zip? Go back to it, make sure you have the GAPPS file, and flash those.

I think Rom Manager has its own folder too, but I could be wrong.

Wug's Galaxy Nexus Root Toolkit in the root section is beneficial

Also this.

Just rebooted and wiped the davik cache and it continues to reboot...google screen with unlocked icon at bottom.

I took most of those off the phone thinking I wouldn't need them. Yes, I know not a good idea now. PLEASE help.

Do you have the Wug's toolkit? I believe it has stock rom/stuff baked in.

I'd check there first. If not, try doing a complete factory reset, then wipe cache/dalvik, then try. That MAY help.

ok.........I found a restore point. I did a factory reset then the last restore I had is restoring.

BE CAREFUL everyone out there regarding this franco kernel

Its probably not the kernel unless you undervolted it too low or something and set it to undervolt on boot.

you probably just erased or moved something you shouldnt have, or had a bad/corrupted download of the kernel.

Funny. I just posted the same issue in the "loves franco kernel" thread. All I did was reflash 16.2 and everything is working again. That was a lot simpler that doing all that wiping and restoring you did.
