is there a way to see whats maxing out my cpu. I turned on nearby devices to dlna to my ps3 and my phone started getting hot. I turned nearby devices back off and rebooted and still hot. I checked my system monitor app and my cpu is maxed out. tried norton scan and it crashed. I clear cache and hard reset and still maxed and after 2 more minutes it went back down to normal. did a factory reset now to be safe

Well I have the app called system monitor which I pay for. Well the app cpu is in a stupid section. You'd think it's would be under cpu. It's under top apps. Like wtf, why would it be in there?

If one core is doing most of the work, what does this mean?

Norton uses 4 cores at 2.3 ghz. They dont care how much their app uses battery. Most games I find run at 2 cores under power saver. 3 if power saver is off. Browser uses 4 at low clocks to keep power consumption perfect
