Hi everyone,
I've had a few androids and iphones but I've never jailbroken or done custom ROMS on an android device before.

When the galaxy note 3 gets released will there be people who are able to get the Note 3 custom Rom for Note 2 users so we can use the new features that the note 3 has?

I like the new airview menu and options it provides. I would assume this would be possible unless anyone knows of any special hardware requirements the note 3 has that would limit the ability of the Note 2 to do this.

Thanks for the replies!

I'm also curious if there will be any way to port this Galaxy Note 3 rom onto the galaxy note 8.0?

Does anyone know if it's hardware that Samsung is only allowing the galaxy note 3 to use their new smartwatch with or if it's software? It'd be extra cool to be able to use the international version of the note 8.0 that has calling and text and then sync that up with the galaxy gear smartwatch!

It all depends on developer support. Porting this ROM would take some work. It has a different cpu gpu screen size and resolution. I'd assume once Samsung releases there api s (if they even do) and kernel that developers will make a custom ROM with some of those features.

Also the watch is a different story. If there will be developer support. I'm sure they could make it compatible with any device with bluetooth. But time will tell.

I've been running the Note 3 for a week and it's unreal. The power, the smoothness, the screen, the apps, sold my S2 for this beast and WOW love it

I would just be happy with the new version of SNote for the Note 2 and 8.0.
I doubt it will happen anytime soon. I did notice that there is a new SNote VIEWER in the Samsung App Store. This allows you to VIEW SNotes originally created on the Note 3 and 10.1 (2014).
