Galaxy note 9 fast charging only with supplied charger

Samsung galaxy note 9 is fast charging only with the supplied charger if any other charger I use of same output or even more output it is not fast charging I tried with almost five different charger brands and the same cable.
Can someone please tell me why?

If you're using generic bricks, I would advise against it as that could cause damage to the phone's battery by overheating - but if you're using original fast charging bricks from other manufacturers, as long as it has the same voltage on the brick as the Samsung it should work. Any lower and it won't work

The charger and phone "talk" to each other over the USB data lines to determine what the charger can supply and what the phone needs. If the charger isn't that type (and a plain 5 Volt charger, regardless of how many amps it supplies, isn't) it's only going to supply 5 Volts at the current the phone draws at 5 Volts - normal charging, not fast charging. (Look for a Qualcom Quickcharge 4 [or, at worst 3] charger.)

I forgot to mention, I am using a Qualcomm certified charger it has dual USB charging ports one port is Qualcomm certified 3.0 and another port is they call it smart which determines how much volt and ampere is required by the phone and supplies accordingly still not fast charging. Another wall charger which I tried is off Apple iPad which is having same volt and point 1 ampere higher but still not fast charging.

That doesn't make any sense. Are you sure that it is not the cable?

It's probably the cable. The cable has to be a fast charging cable. I have had these issues myself and switching cables did the trick.

This thread has so many misstatements I wouldn't know where to begin. And I don't wish to spend the time.
To the op, use the oem cable and brick.

I use qualcomm QC 3.0 chargers and they work fine with my Note 9. I've literally never used the stock Samsung one...
