Galaxy Note Pro 12.2: homescreen icons clearing

I have had my entire home screen clear, deleting all widgets, folders, and icons. This is really annoying. I noticed recently it happened right after touchwiz crashed. I had previously seen the homescreen fix itself, but I am not sure how. Anyone able to suggest how to avoid thid issud or at least how to fix it?

Sorry I don't have a solution but I've had the background image and widgets disappear from the touchwiz home screen a couple of times. I suspect the image went because I inadvertently deleted it from the folder (duh). But the missing LectureNotes widgets is a mystery. Maybe it happens when there is a crash that affects the touchwiz settings... dunno.
