Galaxy Note Pro / battery mark (X) While connecting by USB. How can I fix this?

Galaxy Note Pro / battery mark (X) While connecting by USB .

I got the Note Pro recently and when i connected it to my Pc (Windows 8.1) using Kies 3
as media device every thing is ok , but a red mark (X) on the battery appear so why that and is it regular ?
additional informations / my motherboard is just USB 2.0 - using main cable of the device .

It is normal if your port is a standard USB port, which can deliver only 500mA of current through it. At this rate, your tablet can barely charge, which is why the red 'X' shows on the battery, to let you know that even though it's plugged in, the current is not enough to charge the battery.

Some ports (Powered USB) can deliver up to 2A (most common ones are 1A) and this will be able to charge your device, making the red 'X' disappear.
