Galaxy Note20 5G - When I’m on a call, why is the sound and speaker in the opposite place?

[Android Central Question]

Whenever I’m on the phone, I cannot hear the caller when my phone is right side up. I have to flip my phone so that I can get accurate sound from the caller. From the caller side, they also cannot hear me properly when I speak with my phone right side up and only when I flip my phone upside down can they hear my voice properly. What could be the issue? How can I fix this?

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying that when you're on a regular phone call (not on speakerphone), the sound comes from the speaker at the bottom of the phone, and not the primary earpiece speaker?

Make sure your mic and speakers is clean and Free from obstruction, can test it out in settings>device care >diagnostic
