Galaxy Note9 update yesterday screwed up my phone

[Android Central Question]

I did the update yesterday and there are two big problems.

1. Now the hidden home screen is always on and it covers up buttons in apps. How do I make it slide back away now? its especially difficult for snap chat because i cannot easily hit the send button it covers 95% of it and i have to try to hit it like 5 times to get it.

2. The Google todo list widget that is fully integrated with google calendar is no longer a widget. I now do not have a todo list that i use all the time on my home screen. How can I get this back? I really don't want some rando 3rd party app if possible. I liked the google one that was fully integrated in calendar.

are you using gestures or buttons?
do you have that app to be optimized in full screen?

1. Have you restarted since you updated? If not try that to see if it solves problem 1.

Lol it's not that important now lmao. I see people doing that tho. I check mine no more than once or twice day when I'm waiting for this type of update. Like I said in another topic since Verizon usually takes it time it seems is probably why I rarely have issues when they update lol

Lol sometimes I'm still liking oreo to be honest. First one I've liked enough to be kind of hesitant to want to change to pie. I don't know. I do but I don't if you know what I mean lol.

I think you'll like pie cleaner look and easier to navigate with one hand also gestures are big improvement.

Lol...good question but everyone needs to get on pie first then tackle the next one

But if you still have the pixel u can get the beta when its available to test it.

Lol when someone that don't have an account here post a question, android central question is the name used. Could be same person posting questions but most likely different people. I got annoyed by that awhile back til a mod told me that. And I guess the person referring to when on oreo the home buttons that swipe up when needed are now constantly on now that he/she updated to pie.
