Galaxy notes shuts down

I have recently purchased the galaxy note. I an facing a very peculiar behavior. i last 2 Weeks, my phone has shut down twice. even though the battery charge was full. I had no clue as what had happened. Tried switching on by pressing the side button as well as well front button. No luck. Then both the times i plucked the phone with charger, and after couple of minutes i re tried to switch on the phone and it worked.

I am confused like what's going on my mobile.... Has anyone else faced this till date?

Perhaps a factory reset can fix this problem

Do we know the exact reason for this.. And what about my software that I have installed

Return it to the store. Titanium backup app for backup apps and data. Transfer backup file to PC and you can restore it on new phone then.
