Galaxy on ATT 3G?

Does the Vibrant work on att 3G service? I keep reading that some say it works and others say it don't. It looks to depend on where you live.

I like the way it looks over the Captivate or even the i9000.

Only on one of the two 3g bands that ATT uses. It's a risk.
