Galaxy Round: What's the point of the curve?

Just wondering what the point of the curve is? What does it do for the phone other than make it a little more sturdy. This seems like a weird thing to get excited for. Maybe if it could be bent how you want it or something but still. I'd rather have a Note 3 with the SPen than a curved display. Idk maybe I'm weird.
