Hello,
i have a samsung galaxy S1 with cyanogenmod, and i don't know what happened but when i turn on the phone it just stay on the loading screen, something like this : E6GNg.png just a black screen with that little loading icon in it (without animation) i tried running both recovery and downloading mode (V+/v-,menu,Power) but nothing works too, and there is another strange behavior, sometimes, it show me the "Downloading.... do not turn off target !!! " message, when it is in that screen, the pc does recognies the samsung driver but i have no access to it, and Odin doesn't find the device

any advice please ??

Re: android stack on loading screen and recovery mode doesn't work !!

Does appear that either the ROM has had a crash or even the kernel.

Your going to need to get into either your custom recovery to wipe and reflash the ROM or Odin to flash back to stock.

When you attempt to use Odin/Download Mode, next time try this...

Pull the battery out of the device and leave it out.

Connect the device via cable to computer.

Put it into download mode (Odin mode)

Now see if Odin recognizes it (Yellow Box will light up in Odin)

If this happens your good to flash the factory TAR package to restore it back to stock to get out of this mess.

Re: android stack on loading screen and recovery mode doesn't work !!

UPDATE :
after charging it for few hours (wall) the phone now isn't stack in the loading screen, instead it goes directly to "Download Mode" (Downloading ... Do not turn off Target !!!)
when i plug it to the pc, it install a driver then a message (windows driver) "SAMSUNG USB Composite Device Ready to use"
the bad new is that Odin doesn't recognize the device :/

Pull the battery out of the device and leave it out.
do you mean turning on the phone without a battery ? just with cable plugged to the pc ?? is that possible ?? cause the phone doesn't work at all :p

thank you

Yes if you pull the battery out and leave it out, then plug in your USB cable to your computer then power it into download mode it should work. This was an old trick with the older Samsung devices and many times would help with issues in Odin.

it doesn't work but i have some good and bad news,
the good news is that somehow Odin recognized the phone and i was doing the stock flash step by step from the xda forum, when the big top rectangle in Odin become green (the small ID : Comm didn't yet) the phone got turn off by it self, which bring the bad news, now the phone is stacked in a screen that i saw for the first time
Phone--Triangle--Computer
i can't get neither recovery or download mode
what sorcery is this :( ??!!!

Re: android stack on loading screen and recovery mode doesn't work !!

UPDATE :
i managed to get download mode working again, and i followed all the steps in this thread :
Stock Rom 2.3.6 for Samsung Galaxy S I9000 | Android Emotions Roms
i get the green "PASS" and the phone try to reboot but it get stuck on the samsung galaxy home screen, it just stay there for ever, and there is no "Reboot" in the Odin Log
then i tried the instructions here too :
[TUTORIAL] How to flash back to a Stock ROM! (@mod: Sticky idea?) - xda-developers
and according to the post everything works perfectly for me, except the part that he start choosing the language and i got stacked again with boot screen :( !!
